# MyComics vs Comikai

The clearest difference is rating: Comikai at 5.0 against MyComics's 4.4. MyComics's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyComics sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Comikai sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comikai holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyComics has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyComics ships an update every 4 days, Comikai weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
