# Dexter vs Slatt

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dexter at every 3 days against Slatt's every 2 weeks. Slatt's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dexter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Slatt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dexter ships an update every 3 days, Slatt every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
