# DualShot Recorder vs DualShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: DualShot Recorder at every 3 days against DualShot's weekly. DualShot's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DualShot Recorder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and DualShot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
