# cMaps vs MeshTrail

The clearest difference is monetization model: MeshTrail at free against cMaps's free with in-app purchases. MeshTrail also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks). cMaps's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.
