# TalkScenes vs Polyglo

The clearest difference is ads: TalkScenes at none against Polyglo's shown. Polyglo's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TalkScenes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Polyglo sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TalkScenes ships an update fortnightly, Polyglo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
