# SoleTrackr vs StepNova

The clearest difference is update cadence: StepNova at every 5 days against SoleTrackr's every 3 weeks. StepNova also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoleTrackr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StepNova sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoleTrackr ships an update every 3 weeks, StepNova every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
