# Flux vs iXPlay

The clearest difference is update cadence: iXPlay at every 2 days against Flux's every 8 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flux sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and iXPlay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flux ships an update every 8 days, iXPlay every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
