# Stello vs Flash Chats

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Stello at 90 against Flash Chats's 1. Stello also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#171 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Stello against 5.0 for Flash Chats. Stello ships an update every 2 weeks, Flash Chats every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
