# Interval vs LayerCam

The clearest difference is ads: Interval at none against LayerCam's shown. Interval also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interval sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LayerCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Interval ships an update every 10 days, LayerCam every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
