# QuiverBooks vs Tempo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tempo at every 6 days against QuiverBooks's every 5 weeks. Tempo also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuiverBooks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Tempo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QuiverBooks ships an update every 5 weeks, Tempo every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
