# SoundsRightCN vs Read

The clearest difference is device support: SoundsRightCN at 3 against Read's 1. SoundsRightCN also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoundsRightCN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Read sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoundsRightCN ships an update every 3 weeks, Read fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
