# Image Express vs Comicscope

The clearest difference is update cadence: Comicscope at every 4 days against Image Express's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Image Express sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Comicscope sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Image Express ships an update every 3 weeks, Comicscope every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
