# Routine vs Return Reminder

The clearest difference is update cadence: Routine at every 5 days against Return Reminder's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Routine sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Return Reminder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
