# Junco vs Podkey

The clearest difference is update cadence: Junco at every 9 days against Podkey's every 3 months. Junco also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Junco sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Podkey sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Junco ships an update every 9 days, Podkey every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
