# Steadfast vs Steady

The clearest difference is update cadence: Steady at every 3 days against Steadfast's weekly. Steady also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.2). Steadfast's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steadfast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Steady sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
