# Habits vs TreeNote

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Habits at 9 against TreeNote's 1. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habits sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and TreeNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Habits against 5.0 for TreeNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Habits has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Habits ships an update every 4 days, TreeNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
