# Second View vs PhotoKeepr

The clearest difference is update cadence: Second View at weekly against PhotoKeepr's fortnightly. Second View also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Second View sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year and PhotoKeepr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Second View ships an update weekly, PhotoKeepr fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
