# SHARE vs SplitEx

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SHARE at none against SplitEx's 1. SHARE also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). SplitEx's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SplitEx sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SHARE asks for nothing beyond the download.

SHARE ships an update daily, SplitEx every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
