# SHC3 vs Lustra

The clearest difference is rating: SHC3 at 5.0 against Lustra's 4.6. SHC3 also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Lustra's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SHC3 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Lustra sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SHC3 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lustra has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
