# Loopro vs Booma

The clearest difference is update cadence: Booma at every 3 weeks against Loopro's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loopro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Booma sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loopro ships an update every 4 months, Booma every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
