# HowMuchLeft vs Tally

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tally at none against HowMuchLeft's 1. Tally also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HowMuchLeft sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Tally asks for nothing beyond the download.

HowMuchLeft ships an update monthly, Tally every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
