# TerraGuard vs Python Expert

The clearest difference is monetization model: TerraGuard at free with in-app purchases against Python Expert's subscription. TerraGuard also leads on ratings volume (39 vs 1). Python Expert's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TerraGuard sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Python Expert sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Python Expert holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TerraGuard has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
