# Apperture vs Clear Frame Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: Clear Frame Camera at every 10 days against Apperture's every 6 weeks. Apperture's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apperture sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Clear Frame Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Apperture ships an update every 6 weeks, Clear Frame Camera every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
