# Aegis Secure vs Before You Share

The clearest difference is update cadence: Before You Share at every 2 days against Aegis Secure's fortnightly. Before You Share also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aegis Secure sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Before You Share sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aegis Secure ships an update fortnightly, Before You Share every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
