# NoteHound vs Chord Master Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chord Master Pro at every 2 days against NoteHound's every 9 days. Chord Master Pro also leads on iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteHound sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chord Master Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteHound ships an update every 9 days, Chord Master Pro every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
