# Scriptmate vs FateTap

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scriptmate at every 4 days against FateTap's fortnightly. Scriptmate also leads on iOS requirement (16 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scriptmate sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and FateTap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scriptmate ships an update every 4 days, FateTap fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
