# IQ Test vs IQ MAXX

The clearest difference is update cadence: IQ Test at weekly against IQ MAXX's every 4 weeks. IQ Test also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IQ Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and IQ MAXX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IQ Test ships an update weekly, IQ MAXX every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
