# Confetti Photobooth vs Backdrop

The clearest difference is ads: Backdrop at none against Confetti Photobooth's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Confetti Photobooth sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Backdrop sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Confetti Photobooth ships an update every 4 days, Backdrop weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
