Verdict
The clearest difference is price: GameX Emulator at Free against Surume's $6.95. GameX Emulator also leads on rating (3.6 vs 3.2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 weeks). Surume's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 38%) and chart position (#16 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

GameX Emulator is free to download; Surume costs $6.95 up front. GameX Emulator sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Surume sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
GameX Emulator holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 114 and 33 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of GameX Emulator's written reviews are positive against 56% of Surume's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
GameX Emulator ships an update every 10 days, Surume every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
