# WALK vs StepHive

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WALK at none against StepHive's 1. WALK also leads on update cadence (daily vs monthly). StepHive's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepHive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. WALK asks for nothing beyond the download.

WALK ships an update daily, StepHive monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
