# Viceless vs On Program

The clearest difference is review sentiment: On Program at 88% against Viceless's 50%. On Program also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Viceless's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Viceless sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and On Program sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Viceless holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Viceless's written reviews are positive against 88% of On Program's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Viceless ships an update fortnightly, On Program every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
