# Cadence vs Aruki

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aruki at every 5 days against Cadence's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cadence sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Aruki sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cadence ships an update fortnightly, Aruki every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
