# VANTAGE vs Thrift App

The clearest difference is ads: VANTAGE at none against Thrift App's shown. VANTAGE also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). Thrift App's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VANTAGE sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Thrift App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VANTAGE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thrift App has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VANTAGE ships an update every 2 days, Thrift App every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
