# JotScreen vs PinnedNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: PinnedNote at every 2 days against JotScreen's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JotScreen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PinnedNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JotScreen ships an update every 6 weeks, PinnedNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
