# FTQ vs VPN

The clearest difference is ads: FTQ at none against VPN's shown. FTQ also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). VPN's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FTQ ships an update every 4 days, VPN daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
