# ROX vs Moda

The clearest difference is update cadence: ROX at every 3 days against Moda's every 2 months. ROX also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ROX sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Moda sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ROX ships an update every 3 days, Moda every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
