# Alex vs PrepBot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Alex at every 3 days against PrepBot's every 2 weeks. PrepBot's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and PrepBot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alex ships an update every 3 days, PrepBot every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
