# KidPoint vs StarTasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: KidPoint at weekly against StarTasks's fortnightly. KidPoint also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KidPoint sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and StarTasks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KidPoint ships an update weekly, StarTasks fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
