# SecureKit vs Docarus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Docarus at every 4 days against SecureKit's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SecureKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Docarus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SecureKit ships an update every 2 weeks, Docarus every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
