# Passwords & Vault vs VaultaFree

The clearest difference is monetization model: Passwords & Vault at free against VaultaFree's freemium. Passwords & Vault also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). VaultaFree's advantage is ratings volume (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Passwords & Vault sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and VaultaFree sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Passwords & Vault against 5.0 for VaultaFree. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 3 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
