# DAFO vs Puddle Pals

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DAFO at 14 against Puddle Pals's 1. Puddle Pals's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DAFO sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Puddle Pals sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for DAFO against 5.0 for Puddle Pals. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DAFO has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DAFO ships an update every 2 days, Puddle Pals every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
