# MonkeyLock vs Squat Social

The clearest difference is update cadence: MonkeyLock at every 10 days against Squat Social's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MonkeyLock sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $64.99 per year and Squat Social sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MonkeyLock ships an update every 10 days, Squat Social every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
