# MockMe vs Hourly DSA

The clearest difference is monetization model: MockMe at freemium against Hourly DSA's subscription. MockMe also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). Hourly DSA's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MockMe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Hourly DSA sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for MockMe against 5.0 for Hourly DSA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MockMe has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MockMe ships an update fortnightly, Hourly DSA weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
