# Olive vs Narrative Summit

The clearest difference is rating: Olive at 5.0 against Narrative Summit's 1.0. Olive also leads on ratings volume (14 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Narrative Summit's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Olive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Olive has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Olive ships an update every 3 days, Narrative Summit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
