# Ants Flow vs Swarm Loop

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ants Flow at 64% against Swarm Loop's 45%. Ants Flow also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (3.7K vs 684). Swarm Loop's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ants Flow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Swarm Loop sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swarm Loop holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ants Flow has 3.7K ratings behind it against 684, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Ants Flow's written reviews are positive against 45% of Swarm Loop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
