# SPECTRAL vs GhostTrail

The clearest difference is ads: GhostTrail at none against SPECTRAL's shown. SPECTRAL's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SPECTRAL sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and GhostTrail sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SPECTRAL ships an update every 5 days, GhostTrail monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
