# 英语视说 vs iSub Player

英语视说 and iSub Player are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. 英语视说 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per 3 months and iSub Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

英语视说 ships an update monthly, iSub Player fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
