# Mono no Nedan vs SplitEx

The clearest difference is update cadence: SplitEx at every 2 weeks against Mono no Nedan's every 2 months. SplitEx also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mono no Nedan sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SplitEx sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mono no Nedan ships an update every 2 months, SplitEx every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
