# Ekho VPN vs V2VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Ekho VPN at none against V2VPN's shown. Ekho VPN also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). V2VPN's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ekho VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and V2VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ekho VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V2VPN has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ekho VPN ships an update weekly, V2VPN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
