# Ekho VPN vs PhoeniX VPN

The clearest difference is ratings volume: PhoeniX VPN at 61 against Ekho VPN's 1. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ekho VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PhoeniX VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ekho VPN ships an update weekly, PhoeniX VPN every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
